How to Make a Booking

Before making your booking:

Check the Hire Charges to see the rates for the different rooms.
Check the diary below for availability. Please be aware there may be bookings that have not yet been added to the calendar.

Please read the following documents before making your booking.

Conditions of Hire document - your contractual agreement when hiring the hall.
Village Hall Guide how to look after the hall including fire procedures, food hygiene record if supplying food, cleaning and clearing the Hall at the end of your hire and other useful information.
Alcohol Guidance if you are supplying alcohol free of charge, in the ticket price or having a paying bar please read this.

To make your booking you can either:

Book online by clicking the cross symbol on the diary, below your chosen date. If you are a new user you will be asked to register. You can access the Hallmaster Customer Instructions here. (Please note that if you require additional items such as crockery, cutlery, canopy etc, these can be accessed from the Additional items section using the drop down line items box.)

Once your booking has been made you will receive an email acknowledgement of your requested booking, followed by an invoice for the full amount of the booking. If required you will also be asked for the security deposit of £150.00.

On receipt of payment, you will be emailed confirmation of your booking with details on how to access the hall at the start of your booking.
Supply of Alcohol

If selling alcohol or it is included in the ticket price you can:

Apply for a licence under the village hall licence at a cost of £15.00. Drinking outside the hall building is not permitted when using the village hall licence.
Apply for your own 'Temporary Event Notice'(TEN) which can be obtained from www.wiltshire.gov.uk.

Drinking outside is restricted to the rear lawn and patio area when using a TEN.


If alcohol is being provided free of charge, outside drinking is restricted to the rear lawn and patio area.

Drinking in the car park is prohibited at all times.

For health and safety reasons only plastic glasses are permitted for drinking outside.
