Keeping Safe after Lockdown
With the easing of restrictions from 19 July 2021, the hall is once again open for more community events and activities and private hires with risks managed by those hiring the hall through ventilation, encouraging social distancing, hand washing and use of sanitiser.
It remains important to respect and be considerate of those who are more vulnerable and who may wish to take a more cautious approach so it will be appropriate at some activities or events that measures (including wearing face masks and social distancing) are taken so that people who are clinically more vulnerable or not yet fully vaccinated can attend and feel more comfortable.
While all activities can resume, to keep the hall and its users safe we consider that no more than 50% of the halls usual capacity should be used (see under Facilities for the specification of each room usual capacity).
As requested by Government guidelines we have kept the QR poster on the front door and would encourage you to use this with the NHS Covid App and ask that you clean the rooms you occupy before and at the end of your hire. Please wear a mask in communal areas e.g. kitchen, toilets and corridors and ask your users to do so.
Please read the following documents before making a booking as they give more advice and information on how to use the hall safely for yourself and other users.
